The Bonni Benrubi Gallery, an Uptown New York City art gallery, appears at art fairs around the world. Renting furniture for each show was getting expensive, so they commissioned me to design and build a table they could bring with them. The table disassembles and packs flat with just a few machine screws, and the cabinet and three stools are on wheels for easy moving. The cushions of the stools come off to reveal storage inside for hanging file folders, lunch, supplies, and tools. The design was a collaboration between the client and myself.
