Nefertiti candlesticks in russian olive

Named for the famous bust of the Egyptian queen, these candlesticks will make a graceful addition to your spare table setting. As a pair, with their abstract suggestion of heads and chins, they bring up thoughts of conversation or the opposite, depending on how they’re oriented to one another. They’re a great example of the advantages of local wood sourcing, as they are made from russian olive, a common landscaping tree in Nebraska, but one which would never be milled on a large scale. It’s a lovely rich honey color, with bold grain that complements the minimalist form.
