Bowl, Ashpot in Walnut with Sparkle

I’m quite proud of the proportion and the fair, modulated curve of this little bowl. Made from two thick pieces of walnut from the same board, the grain reflects in clear harmony, which I also like quite a bit. If you catch it in the sunlight just right, you’ll notice a sparkle from a tiny bit of gold mica I mixed into the finish. It’s quite subtle.
